The CloVR-Search track supports large-scale BLAST comparisons on the nucleotide or protein sequence level. Input files include nucleotide or protein sequences in fasta format. BLAST comparisons can be performed against user defined or bundled reference databases. Supported reference databases include the nucleotide and non-redundant protein databases from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
One of the benefits of CloVR-Search is it can automatically determine how large your cluster should be to for the fastest results and will resize your cluster as needed. Â All you need to do is give it input files and a database to search against. CloVR-search has been tested on up to 1280 CPU cores using Amazon EC2.
